[#800000]It has come to my attention that not only did the cost of the Wyoming version of the stamp go up in price, but another change has been implemented this year by Utah (and I assume by Wyoming as well). This has to do with folks that do not qualify for a resident license from either state.[/#800000]

[#800000]A friend from Texas bought a Utah non-resident license & a Wyoming reciprocity stamp to fish both sides of Flaming Gorge last year. Last week, he got a letter from Utah that stated effective in 2019, that reciprocity stamps would NOT be issued to non-resident license holders. If he wants to fish both sides of the Gorge, he will have to buy a non-resident license from both Utah AND Wyoming.[/#800000]
[#800000] [/#800000]
[#800000]And when I was buying my reciprocity stamp from Wyoming a couple days ago, I did see the notice that they would only sell them to Utah RESIDENT license holders. Now there was nowhere to input any Utah resident license information but would assume that if you get checked by a CO in either state that your license better be a resident license if you possess a reciprocity stamp.[/#800000]
[#800000] [/#800000]
[#800000]I’m fairly certain that the folks from other than Wyoming or Utah are not going to be happy campers (fishermen) when they plan their annual kokanee fishing adventure to FG.[/#800000]
[#800000] [/#800000]
[#800000]If you have information that refutes what I just wrote, by all means post it. Enquiring minds want to know.[/#800000]
