What a fantastic start to the new year ! We hit the Berry. -22 at day break. 1st line down I decided to go with my favorite tried & true chartreuse glow in the dark 2'' radical glow . tube tipped with a red shinner minnow. 10 min and WHAM !!! 23'' slot buster cuttie ! . WOOT WOOT ! 1 Hour pasted and WHAM !! 22.5'' slot buster cutter ! First 2 fish of 2019 ! We ended up with 6 more cutties from 16 - 19 inchers. White Radical glow tubes worked great too.

Congrats, sounds like you had a great day. It has been years since I've caught a slot buster there, that is likely why I stopped fishing there in the Winter but catching two in one day, you did good.[cool]

Nice fish! You've got to be tough to fish when it is -22 degrees. That's colder than a stepmothers kiss. Way too cold for me, but I'm delighted you enjoyed your day.
