Cool morning. Was great to see all the folks fishing the CFF. <br />Mike and I ran up river to our first spot. He and a friend caught fish there last Saturday. Pitching a suspending Rogue, and had a keeper on the third or fourth cast in about 10 fow.. Not even 7:30 yet, and the skunk was out of the boat. 17&quot; largie. Excited about the first keeper, should be a great day. Worked the area for a while, jerkbaits, jigs, square bills, swim baits, traps. Just a couple of taps, no more keepers. Made a move, no success. Ran down river, Mike catches a non keeper. Finished in the park. Just one keeper for the day. The sun did peak out, for about 10 minutes. Almost thought sunglasses would be needed. Water temps were around 50, strong current .<br />Thanks to the committee for another excellent tourney. Good to see old friends.
