I see know one has answered your post yet so here goes. I have not fished the rock pile but it is easy to find. If you are coming through Logan Canyon you turn right at the stop sign, when you get to Garden City.

You will now be going south. In about 5 miles you will get to Pickleville. On the lake side is Idea Beach. That's where you will turn in. It cost $1.00 per person in the car, to park. From there you will head north out on the lake. In about 1/4 mile you will be over the rock pile.

As for as fishing reports go, other than BFT past posts, try this website. http://www.anglerguide.com/utah/ It is a good one to check for information before heading to Bear Lake. They update it weekly, unless there are major changes in conditions, then they update it more often. Good Luck! Let us know how you do.
