so, managed to get into the costa tournament 
and had a good time of it.<br /><br />practiced really the weekend before and purposely didnt practice monday or tuesday, was on on the water wednesday for just a couple of hours in the morning. caught every fish i weighed on a big lipless cb off shallow shellbeds leading into spawning areas. the pattern faded as the water cleared and i failed to adjust obviously. was great while it lasted. thanks to everyone for the support and encouragement<br /><br />to the guys in the white ranger with the burgandy stripe that watched me fish friday, asked me &quot;are you fishing the costa&quot; and was then sitting on the shellbed saturday morning when i got there. i hope you won your tournament.
