Well, we mostly tried for crappie in the pm, but didn't do a whole lot. We caught 7 crappie (3 keepers over 11 in.), a 13 in. spot, a 12 in. LM, a drum , a nice yellow bass and several bluegill. We fished every kind of structure with the usual finesse baits. The water temp was 47 about noon and 55 when we left about 6.

We met Labman several times and he donated a couple of crappie to the cause. Thanks! He did a whole lot better than we did. We also ran into Hal and he said he hadn't done a whole lot of good. We enjoyed coversations with both of them.

Going from Woftever back to the main river channel,, we saw 2 boats that had run aground on the mud flat out from Harrison Bay Marina towards the main river channel. One was a cruiser and one was a bass boat. They were both in the dry. There were 3 bass boats helping the beached bass boat and the coast guard, a tow boat and a pontoon boat were with the cruiser. Later on we saw that the bass boat had been rescued, but the cruiser was sitting on the mud flat all by its lonesome.

BE CAREFUL ON THE LAKE, IT'S VERY NEAR MINIMUM POOL. STAY BETWEEN THE CHANNEL MARKERS UNLESS YOU ARE SURE YOU KNOW THE WATER (DEPTH)!
