Fished SH w/bass buddy Sun-Tues. Main lake water temps started at 54, getting up to 59. Hit mid-60s in some of the stick-up areas of the sand dune flats, where we got some 4s and one 5 late Sun afternoon. Otherwise, jigged up most of of our fish over 20-35'. Same gorgeous high-70 weather Monday with same light ripple and, even-tho water up a two degrees, saw way fewer shallow fish. Go figure. Like Sunday, got one fish here, one fish there, with no rock-solid pattern. Hoped to get in two hrs of fishing Tuesday before the forecast 22mph winds blew us off the lake. Tho that did happen at 11am, we absolutely killed 'em over 20-27' for 3 solid hrs. on that hump south of the telephone pole, where we didn't even get a bite the previous 2 days.
We threw out a buoy and kept figure-8-ing around it, managing a handful of double-headers of 3# fish. My buddy even yanked his SH personal best at 6#. 4" Yama grubs the meal ticket, either drop-shotted or s-l-o-w-l-y dragged on 1/16oz darter heads. Had we not gotten blown off the water, we would have had to quit fishing.
To paraphrase our illustrious Prez, our boat was full and we could not take anymore in. Gonna be a tough morning to top.

Nice...there is no better time IMO to be on SH than right before a cold front pushes through. I was hoping to get there Tuesday, but was too busy turning another year older, lol. Glad to hear someone got there and got into them. WTG!

Sounds like lots of fun, but I have to ask "Huh?" on your statement that I quoted.

Read the next sentence re: being full and not being able to take any more in.
