My Grandson wanted to do the Knolls so we gave it a shot this morning. On the water by 0630. Water level was high at our launch point. Only had to walk out bout 20 ft to drop the motor and settle into the tube. Water temp was 59 degrees and held there all morning. Cloudy and no wind just a few ripples. Taylor got out first on the pontoon and headed for the point. Took me a bit to get my new sonar set up and start to fish.
Managed my first cat bout 0720 on a purple flig. Got her to the tube and she spit it back out at me. Bless her heart. Was slow after than til just after 9 when the sun tried to peek out. Another one hit my gulp minnow and let me take her pic. Thanks purty lady. Shortly after landed another one on the gulp. She squealed at me but she was not camera shy. Managed one more before the rains came bout 1030. Tayler managed 2 white bass but I couldnt get his pictures to download. We were off the water by 1115. I have missed the knolls.

[#0000FF]Waytago Lee. Glad you got on the water and found some fish. Also glad to hear the water level is coming up nicely.

It was great. Took a little getting used to. Somehow I managed to undo what you did for me but I was able to figure it out. Gonna take some time to get used to all the marks. What is fish and what is clutter or junk. Now if I could just get the date on my camera unstuck . We need to get out soon .

[#0000FF]That unit is different than the black and white ones we have been used to...and no silly fishy icons. But it does become much easier to sort out the readings after you have had a few sessions with it. Long term I think you will like it much better.[/#0000FF]
