Took my new to me boat out for its maiden voyage yesterday, battery was dead at the ramp. Had a nice gentleman give me a jump, trolled 1/2 way around the lake via the dam with no bites on my firetiger rapala then switched to a different rap that was black and white still with no luck. My pops was using various spoon sets that were of no interest to the fish. Boat died on the far side of the lake so we waited for another nice fella to jump us again and we headed off the lake as to not further test our luck! Got a nice new battery in my vessel now so she’s really ready for her triumphant return!! Thanks to the folks nice enough to help out your fellow anglers in need!!

[#800000][font "Comic Sans MS"][size 3]Kokanee setups (dodgers & squid or spinners) have been working real well at Rockport for the last 3 weeks. Both surface and depths down to 15 feet have been producing 24 to 40 fish days for 5 trips. No reason why they wouldn't do well at Echo. I'm going to test that theory out tomorrow. [Wink]
