Fishing Forum

Took the family to Magic Res yesterday. We caught a ton of small smallmouth with the biggest being about 12inches. It was fun for the kids. We also caught a handful of rainbows and one brown trout. The rainbows and brown trout are on the smoker waiting for dinner. It was a great day of family fishing.

Sounds like a great trip, what were you catching the bass on?

About anything we threw at them but I used mister twisters in a variety of different colors. It didn't seem that it mattered what color the jig was. I also caught them on spinners and the kids were using worms.
