I went to Echo on 2/25 and did well. I limited out on perch in about 3.5 hours you can also a nice trout with that mix. I was about 150 yards due west of the bout ramp in about 40 to 45 feet of water the ice was over 12 inches thick. I was a chartreuse tiny tot (you get them at Hooked tackle shop) with a waxie. I also had a flash about 6 to 8 inches above the hook. The trout was caught on the way down to the bottom to the perch . I usually stop on the way down to the bottom for two or three times for two or three minutes and jig once or twice in hopes to get something bigger and it happens once a trip.[

Thanks for the report! I hope it's still good on Saturday and that the snow isn't too deep!

How are the edges? With this last storm thr should have frozen back up but I am taking my gradpa ice fishing for his fist time. He is a guide on Lee's Fairy and he finally made it up here for ice fishing. If the edges are bad I'll just head up to the berry. Thanks for any tips.

If you can take a 2"x6" plank, to bridge the gap,it helps get you on the ice. Getting back to shore later in the day is also a concern. That is when I broke through last year.

About ten to twelve feet down. I stop to jig there and my line went limp before I could jig so I set the hook.
