Looking to get out and do a little trolling this weekend. Does anyone know if the underwater vegetation is still thick at Mantua? Also I saw earlier this summer that there was an algae bloom. Is it safe to fish now?

Yes, there is still plenty of seaweed. As far as algae goes I didn't see any last Tuesday but I found the water quite stained with mud (hopefully, that has cleared up by now).
