If drop shotting means the same thing to me (slow drop angling with a neutral balanced jig head and soft bait) then yes it can easily be done. <br><br>Just a matter of getting the right weighted jig head to suit your soft bait, or visa versa. DROP SHOT IS AN EFFECTIVE TECHNIQUE WETHER IT IS FROM THE BANK OR THE BOAT. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH DROPSHOTTING FROM SHORE IS THAT YOUR WEIGHT TENDS TO GRAB THE BOTTOM WHEN WORKING UPHILLL. IN THESE SITUATIONS TRY USING A TEARDROP SHAPED WEIGHT.<br><br>

It sure is. Because when you bring it back, it is going uphill. And it is very effective during the post spawn. 4-4-1/2". the color depends on what lake you are at. I like to use 6lb line when i am doing this.<br><br>Good luck<br><br>
