Hit the water at 5pm tonight, water temp was 49.89*F and air temp was just above that ?. By the time I left air temp was 43 ?. Started out looking for bass on the rocks at the back of Mantua and finally picked one up on the chatter bait. Switched to searching for perch and picked up a couple small rainbow for my efforts. Then started trolling back in as darkness set in. Caught the big bow pictured here. Then stopped to jig in 8’ of water still looking for perch. Saw a mark on my finder inspecting my jig and hooked into another bass. Called it quits and booked it over to the ramp. Hands freezing but it was nice getting out on the water again.[Image: BB1507-BA-89-B8-4515-9-DCC-8-ACAC7053435.jpg]

Thanks Paul. The weather certainly took a turn this week, feels more like winter than fall.
