Anyone know how the ice fishing in Vernal or Duchesne is doing? Headed out there soon. Gorge
is still a no go all the way to Buckboard.

Pretty much everything has solid safe ice except the Gorge and Starvation. Not sure of Starvation's status.

If your near starvation please keep is in-the-know, about starvation ice conditions. Thank you..

Drove past Starvation yesterday. Area around the bridge has a layer of skin ice with several holes of open water. It was 15 degrees when I went past at 11 so it might cap soon at those temps.

We went to red fleet reservoir today but didn’t se anyone fishing on it. The ice looks unsafe and there are spots of open water so we headed for Steinaker reservoir. The ice on Steinaker is 10” thick and the fishing was hot. Kept our limit of rainbows for the 3 of us and released 13 rainbows. All fish were between 14-17 inches.
