Snook all over the beaches today, I took this one on a deep clouser, tried to get his mommy or daddy to play to no avail, I am sure I could have stuck some larger ones today as we had a great tide. But on the ride out I heard a knocking in my engine which got worse upon my arrival at the flats. I had to run my buddy back to the dock and noon and figured I wouldn’t risk going back out. Engine ran fine but I think I have a linkage issue in the lower end.

Nice fish! Great catch on a fly. Hope the boat keeps you getting out and back through the season.

Got a guy coming to look at it tomorrow, hopefully back up and running by Wednesday, that would mean I won’t miss any fishing time []
