Ran 10 miles off shore first thing this morning looking for Kingfish, wind was blowing and the seas were 2-3’, not the best conditions. I did manage one 30” king and missed a few others. Got tired of getting beat up so ran inshore. Got into some nice Reds and Trout...at one point at the end of the day we pulled up into a nice flat with a school of trout, basically every cast we were hooking up. Best fish of the day was my 200 lb. Bull shark. My buddy said there had been some bulls in the marina and as soon as we pulled in one followed us. I was busy washing down the boat when he threw out the head of the kingfish and we were hooked up, handed me the rod, untied the boat and off we went. 45 minute fight and a bent gaff later we hauled it in the boat. Got the hook safely out and away it went. Great day!!
