Option A is the better choice for no closed season. Option B isn't bad with a month long shutdown either.
The most interesting thing I read was that less than 10% mortality rate from anglers with the majority of the fish dieing from natural causes. So I support opening that pond year round with catch release and catch and keep season and that a higher morality could lead to larger average fish with a few fewer mouths to feed.
Yes, that would be the best option. I was surprised to see that anglers don't make a dent in the fish population.
