My son and I hit EC this morning for possibly the last time this year.
Fishing was slow for Bows but we did boat 5 and lost a few others.

The Algae Blume was thick up by the Dam.
Completely blacked out the Fish Finder in that area.

After having my old trolling motor die on me earlier this summer, it was great having a dependable motor on the boat again.

Fish were everywhere from 15' to 30' depending on location and algae.
Water temps have dropped back into the 60's.

All in all a fun day on the water with good company.

How was launching?

Crowds thinning yet?

The launch is open to one lane only but it is in good condition. Easy to access.
Because we went on a Monday, after school has started, there were very few boats on the water. Only one with someone skiing and they did a good job of staying away from us.
