Two of my buddies had to bail on fishing yesterday morning, no biggie, I decided to go out for a few hours to see if the Reds were still hanging around. Cold front this week ha dropped the water temps. and I know the fish are getting less active. On the water at 815 and had to wear a fleece in the 66* weather, warmed up to about 80* when I left around 1 pm. Got quite a few small Redfish, had a few sharks break me off, good quick morning.

Fun times, man that's terrible if you're lows are down in the 60's our highs are closer to 50 these days... But I guess that comes with the elevation... Thanks for the report, fun to see something on the salty side... Later J
Great looking reds! Thanks for the report on a not Utah trip. It's always nice to read your posts.

I’ll tell ya bro, I have been lazy with the fly rod lately. I did just get a new sink tip line for the Everglades next week. We fish a deep canal and I was having a hard time getting my flies down last spring….hopefully problem solved. I’ll have my fly rod out a lot more this winter on the flats for some big Jacks….that is my favorite fish on a fly rod.
