Must have been 80* today, on the water at 0630, netted a bunch of big greenbacks (you’d think it was summer). Fished a new spot…reds, trout and snook. Was a great day….enjoy the ice my friends!

Who'd a thunk it?
That water looks clear enough that one could sight fish.
I met Remo one time, when we went to Bear Lake together to drill holes and freeze. He caught a few and I labored through deep snow on the way out with enough difficulty that I truly was glad Remo had had CPR training. And somehow during that trek, I lost a brand new ice rod. He was good company, but that trip is a bad memory for me.

I moved to Utah from Florida, and he went the other way. Balance in the universe, perhaps.
Yes, sucked that rocky lost that rod, no idea where it bounced out.

Oh yes Kent, you can definitely see the fish, pitch a bait to them and watch them eat.
Looks like you two had a great day. If it's 80 degrees in the Winter it must be scorching hot in the Summer.

It is…summertime is an early morning or late evening deal. Once noon hits, fish shut down and it’s too hot to sit in the boat.

When I was a kid, we went to Fl on a vacation, my sisters and I were out swimming in the motel pool, guess I stayed in there too long and my skin in my shoulder actually bubbled up, now that's hot.
