Boyd lake opened up to boating 3-25-22, the lake stayed froze for about 3 weeks longer then the last few year and the ice was thicker.
fishing was fair to slow for walleye, we did get 2 just over 16in. trout (rainbow) was good casting or trolling crankbaits. I was good to get the boat out and clean everything up for the season.

Thanks for the report Chuck, did you catch the eyes trolling or casting or bottom bouncing?
