Our oldest son is an avid bow hunter and usually takes a cow or spike every year in the Wasatch Unit. He has been applying for an archery big bull tag for 7 years and finally drew a tag this year. We only hunt public ground in the unit He had been after a big bull that he had spotted several times and missed him last week, he spotted him again yesterday morning and was working on him when this bull responded to his call and came to within 10 yards and he decided to take him as he had never taken a branched antlered bull with his bow. This was the result. He had some friends and his nephew help him bone it and pack it out without losing any meat. My Grandson has the same tag so they are going to try and get him on a good bull.

He usually carries an arrow in his quiver just for grouse, always tasty in the hunting camp although they were eating elk backstrap last night.
Nicely done Pete, congrats to your son.  Cool
