Winter 2023 is upon us here on the Indian River and Mosquito Lagoon, water temperatures dropping into chilly winter levels with clearing water clarity, fish congregating into the holes when chilly and coming on the flats during sun shiny days. Winter fish like Sheepshead and Bluefish now common catches for a few months, Redfish, Black Drum, Seatrout and Snook gather together into their winter patterns. Bluefish like a quick flashy small size lure, when encountering schools, are lots of fun with aggressive Blues. Still some Spotted Seatrout around like this nice one Jeff from New Jersey caught recently ……………….
