I grabbed the wrong tackle bag so I didn't have Tyler's placard so if the fish doesn't count we understand but this was his 26.5" from the story I posted in the wrong forum

We could not stretch it any further to get 29". Such a bummer

Dang just a 1/16" more was all you needed... Sorry you have too good of a measuring device, if it was a tape I'd probably not been able to tell...28.5 points but your Dad owes you the last youth prize for over 28" catfish... Congrats on a great fish..
