Hit Browning point early this morning. 1st holes drilled not as deep as I wanted to be. Good 9 inches or so of ice there. Walked out further, drilled again and stepped back quick. Only 2.5 to 3 at the most. Went back to my 1st holes.

Marked a few fish, then some schools. Typical Pineview finicky crappie. Most not interested, once in a while a bite. Ended up with 11 keeper crappie and 2 perch. Missed a couple, had a couple come unbuttoned. Caught one small 5 inch crappie that went back. Lots of people fishing, but


unsure how anyone else did.

At least you didn't have to dodge crazy airplane pilots.
