Wanted perch for lunch and had not seen any recent Pineview reports- so we decided to do both.

We are also playing around with a video series about vintage methods and how they compare so we took some classic red and white bobbers, courtesy of tubedude, and a few jigs and went to work. The flooded brush areas were loaded with panfish. The jig tipped with a worm about 2ft down got us about 50 perch and gills in couple hrs. Enough over 9 inches to provide a bunch of fillets for lunch. Took em home and enjoyed.

Awesome report and video! I'm always looking for warmwater options to go after panfish once the trout reservoirs get too warm. I might have to haul the float tube up to Pineview for a look-see.

Thank you for the inspiration.
Wow, you two kicked butt, great report and video. Was that cornbread that Cookie was pulling out of the oven? It's been a while since I gave that up but I've got lots of found memories of eating it when I was younger.

Unless the heat drives them down deeper you should have a blast
