I like to go right when the ice comes off.
Got cha. Since it is ALL private land, entering upon it without written permission, could be construed as trespassing. Good luck with understanding Utah's trespass laws.
A picture of the sign might be useful.

X2
There was no “no trespassing “ verbiage on the sign when I drove up yesterday, I can drive back up and get a pic though.
Thanks much Alan for driving up and getting those pics and talking to the irrigation guy. Great news that it doesn't say no trespassing.
Doesn’t even say no motor vehicles.
Thanks for the Intel Alan. Doubt I'll make it there this season but it's good to know it's possible. There's some pretty good clearance on that gate to sign.
I believe Home Depot has a great Black Friday deal on reciprocating saws. Just saying!

Glad you are taking it the right way
Hey I think that looks like all the other road closure signs in the hills, I think that is just to keep trucks off the roads so they don't tear up the roads. They wouldn't have left that much room around the side if they wanted it closed off. I think we're good to take the snowmobiles in. Alan you're a rock star, thanks so much for the trip up and pictures I'm for sure feeling better about things after you're report.. Thank you very much.. Later Jeff

Yes no harm intended
People probably going to take ATVs and motorcycles in also.
I thought the road was a county road THROUGH private property. If that is the case, then they cannot block off a county road. Hopefully Chris Penne will jump back on here after the holidays to respond. As far as camping, they were camping up there most of the summer along the reservoir. If it was closed to camping maybe they did that after August 1st? I was up there 7 or 8 times this year in June and July and I didn't see ANY trash anywhere. Sometimes people say things to jump on the bandwagon to justify their positions, but it might not be true. I feel that I was up there enough to speak from recent experience and not just heresay. If the reservoir is not accessible to the public, I can guarantee there DWR will not stock and/or manage the fishery and I simply find this difficult to believe.

I agree with that 100 %
are not many of the roads closed off from Nov 15 to April country roads ? Just wondering if its not cost cutting.
