[font "Times New Roman"][size 2]In the past (not necessarily the last year or two or so), Stoddard Slough had season dates listed in the proclamation saying that portions of the stream were closed to fishing from Jan. 1st until like the third week in May. There isn’t any special regulations listed for Stoddard Slough (a.k.a. Enterprise Ditch) in this year’s Proc. and I was wondering if that stretch has been opened to year-round access. I wouldn’t mind going and fishing it if it was open now, but wouldn’t want to find myself somewhere I’m not supposed to be, with my rod in my hand.[/size][/font]

I had the same question a while back and just called the DWR and asked them. The area I wanted to fish was not in the proc. either so they sent me to talk to the BML folks who straightened me out. It turned out that general fishing regs prevailed. Just was not covered in the general proc. But I was glad I called to make sure.
