Has anyone fished the middle or upper provo lately, right above Jordanelle or right above deer creek, wondering if alot of fish move out of the lake up the river. Would love to catch a smally on fly rod in river, or some big trout from the lakes. Want to go up this weekend.

[unsure] well have good and bad news for you.bad news is that nobpdy has caught a smally on the fly all winter, the good news is that the irver channle right above deer creek has been producng giant fish, were talking the fish that you would go to alaska for. use wollys or small midge patterns. few have been coming up for dry flys but they are feeding so yo can expect anything

anywhere the water used to be has been good. just find the deeper pools and eddies and you should be doing good
