I took my pontoon out for the maiden voyage and discovered that I just dont have the gene in my brain that allows my arms to work in coordination with each other.

Imagine pulling 3 leggs off of a daddy longleg spider and turning him loose I think thats what I looked like. I like the stability of the pontoon and the speed that you can push it with the oars but I'll be damned if I can keep it in a straight line LOL.

I know now that I'm definately right handed but I think with a little time on that thing I'll get better with it, plus I've got a mount for an electric motor on it.

if anybody has a short shaft electric motor that they want to trade or sell let me know.

I have an electric that might work out for you. The guy I purchased my boat from threw it in with the boat. It didn't come with any brackets to mount it to the boat, so it wasn't of much value. Not sure if it is a short or long staff, but I did fire it up and it worked.
