I am going to the Green River Thursday & Friday and heard rumor that there was some open water by the dam at the Gorge, and you could launch a boat & do some trolling can anyone confirm or give me some advice about where I can find out. They were pretty wishy washy at the lodge when I inquired.

I heard the same thing about Mustang Ridge.

I got this from the Doug Miller website. The biologist at the Gorge told me today it is done. There is now open water from the dam up to Mustang..and there is a band of open water all around Linwood.
