Fished Millcreek yesterday for 30 min caught 2 small browns, where talking MC style 7" or smaller. But fun for fishen in the city limits. Whats the biggest any one of you has caught in MC.

Glad to hear you caught a couple! My personal biggest is 23". He was also the biggest I've ever hooked on there.

If you were on 4800 So, then that wasn't Millcreek...that was one of the Cottonwood Creeks.

The cottonwood creeks are nothing but a trikle around wasatch, where I was was a lot more water and closer in reference to millcreek.

Trust me...the Millcreek doesn't go that far south. All creeks in the valley flow in a general north west by west direction.

I could be wrong though....it wouldn't be the first time.

There is some canal water that dumps into the stream bed of Big Cottonwood Creek below Wasatch Blvd. That is why there is always water in the creek by the mall even though the creek below the water treatment plant in Big Cottonwood Canyon is dry. That also exlains why you sometimes find catfish and carp in that stretch of stream.
