Black Bass are finally going to spawn. Males are roaming the shallows of flats and pockets in 1'-4' and a few females are already on beds. Split Shot Devil's Tongues and<br>lightweighted watermelon, 3" crawfish Super Tubes or pumpkin Zilla lizards are good in these situations. For the larger females still holding a little deeper try crawfish 1/4 oz. 'Traps, chameleon Scoundrel worms on wacky rigs and 1/4 oz. Terminator jigs with craw trailers. CRAPPIE fishing is at it's peak and will stay there for a few weeks with 12"-17"<br>fish coming from 1'-3' on 1/32 oz. chartreuse Tiny Tubes or white or chartreuse Curb's crappie jigs.
