Bear Lake Mack taught a few of us a similar technique at Bear lake but the idea was to hit the fish on the head once you had the rock on your line. We had mixed results with this technique but we would see a few cisco float up every once in a while, I guess you would have to be there to enjoy this new way of fishing. I'm sure BLM would be glad to explain how it works if you would just ask him how he did it. WH2

That reminds me, while trolling at Yuba, I caught something heavy and felt like a fish on, you know how walleyes dont sometimes fight?

I reeled it in and it turned out to be someone's hiking boot... I have a photo somewhere, gotta find that and post it. It was so funny as the boot was spinning as I reeled it in giving it the walleye feel...

Hey guys,,,play nice. Some days that's just all you can catch. Should have seen the one I caught today.
By the way, I did catch a Walleye and a White Bass today.
Caught them trolling jigs behind planer boards. The walleye was a small one, but the bass was pretty big.
O.K.,, not really. I didn't even know I had him until I pulled in the planer board.

Lots of Walleye caught today on jigs.
Morning was best. About 7:30 to 9:00.
