BLM and I were hashing out different sides of an issue and his insistence to knowledge of safety procedures brought to mind something I haven't seen mentioned on this board before.
Anyone who spends much time on the water needs to know basic safety procedures, and the most widely recognized resource for boating safety information is from the book, Chapman Piloting & Seamanship. It's not just a book for sailors or cabin cruisers making long ocean passages. This is the bible for all boat owners...
