I went and fished it last night at one of my favorite spots(sorry, I ain't sayin specifics this time). In the hour I fished it, I landed 6 nice big browns, at 12", 14 1/2", 13 1/4", 18", 16", and finally a huge 22"er. All of em were caught on a #3 Bronze Blue fox Vibrax, and released to catch another day. The spot I was at looks as though it hasn't been fished in years. The water was high and kind of stained, but perfect lure conditions. The big boy came right at sun down. Heck, if it hadn't been for the street lights I wouldn't have been able to see. Some parts of the river were un fishable. I wanted to try my luck by the Restarunt, but the big hole was WAY too rapid to fish.

Big cottonwood creek is a creek ive wanted to fish for a long time. Where is some of the better fishing there? Is there a lot of areas to cast spinners.

There's lots of fishing on it. The best fishing I've found is by the old oceans resteraunt, in the frisby golf park above there, and around 500 west. Its perfect for chucking spinners. By about july or august, though, it gets really over grown, and hard to fish.

I think your gonna have to show me because I have no idea where your talking about.

Alright. I'll send you a PM the next time I try to get out. Probly next week sometime. The 500 west one is easiest to find. Its just to the south of 39th south, and the best hole is right by I-15.

Dude I tell you, You hit all the local spots that Ive been hitting for about 18 years or so... Kinda funny. Sounds like you have it figured out.
I hadnt hit the Oceans spot for a bout 5 years. Seems like there was nothing left but carp there last few attempts. Mainly under the bridge though.

That would be great. I'd really apreciate that. I try to hit as many local waters that I can.
