My last two trips to wilson has been very slow on stripers as they are scattered and feeding shallow and hard to approach. But the walleye are hitting in just about any area I fish. The larger fish are being caught in the Minooka park and west area but I have caught them as far east as lucas. Most of the larger walleye that I have caught I have been fishing live shad in 32 to 42 feet of water, but they are very receptive to artificial baits also. I caught several keeper, 20 inchers, slabbing a 1/4 ounce kastmater in 30 feet of water. I'm sure that as hungry as these fish have been that , minnows, worms, or whatever your preffered method of fishing is you shouldn't have any problem catching a limit of walleye. Good Luck,
