Fishing Forum

Fished East canyon yesterday for a few hours. The fishing was tough. Water lever is looking really good but the docks aren't in yet. I think the fishing, at least with artificial lures will continue to be slow as long as the water stays muddy. It was very muddy yesterday throughout the whole resevoir. The only 2 fish I caught were caught on large taildancer rapalas. I tried everything in the box and every area of the resevoir. I think I could have caught more if I would have anchored and baited up but I wasn't carrying any bait. The fish were only 14in and both had signs of anchor worm though not as bad as in the summer. I also did not mark very many fish on the finder.
