From La Canada, on Hwy I-210; take Hwy 2 (Angeles Crest Hwy.) N, go 11 mi. to the Switzer Forest Station, on S side of road; winding road from nearby metropolitan area.
Pools and riffles; in mountainous, high desert terrain. Some primitive campsites.
Local fishing: Rainbows stocked twice per month February through May.
