LAST FALL AT SHEEPCREEK THE FOREST SERVICE HAD SIGNS POSTED ON THE BATHROOMS THAT STATED THERE WOULD BE NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING ALLOWED AT THE SHEEPCREEK BAY PARKING AREA AFTER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND 2004 HAS ANYBODY HEARD OR SEEN ANYTHING ELSE ON THIS.WE WERE IN SHEEPCREEK ALL WINTER ICE FISHING AND I DIDNT SEE ANY OF THE SIGNS OR ANYTHING POSTED.I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THEY CHANGED THEIR MINDS OR WHAT IS GOING ON.I SURE WOULD HATE TO SEE THAT. SHEEPCREEK IS MY FAVORITE PLACE TO STAY IN A GOOD CENTRAL LOCATION ON THE GORGE.AS IT IS NOW YOU CAN ONLY CAMP BEHIND THE ROCKS SO I DONT GET WHAT THEY ARE THINKING THEY WONT GAIN ANY PARKING SPACE TO SPEAK OF?JUST WONDERING BECAUSE ITS JUST ABOUT TIME TO START CAMPING OVER THERE.

I THINK THEY DO THAT CAUSE IN THE FALL WHEN THE RAIN HITS THE GORGE AND THE FIRST SNOW FALL THATS REALLY WET THEY GET MUD SLIDES DOWN SOME OF THE LITTLE CANYONS THERE...I THINK ITS A SAFETY ISSUE. IF IT ISNT THAT I COULDNT TELL YOU WHATS GOING ON.
