Cherry Creek Reservoir in Denver has a pretty decent population of crappies. Ice fishing and after ice out the bite for them is pretty good right on the outlet tower. Not sure if they are still biting at this time. I unfortunately haven't made it out there yet this year as I seem to be spending my time chasing the walleyes at Chatfield which hasn't been very productive to be honest. John Martin also has good crappies. A real good fisherman I know catches some big ones out there casting to the shore about this time in the year. The railroad trussle seems to be a good spot for them there.
