Captain Dave Hanson of Fishbuster Charters fished 9 miles off Naples, 8 1/2 miles west of New Pass, 16 1/2 miles off Wiggins Pass, and at the DGH Reef off Bonita Beach this week, using live shrimp on light tackle and grunts & blue runners on heavy tackle. Our clients caught keeper mangrove snapper, keeper sheepshead, keeper triggerfish, keeper gag grouper to 29 inches, Spanish mackerel, grunts, blue runners, permit to 29 inches, porkfish, and nurse shark to 6 feet (released). Our clients included the Joe Busa party, the Jeff Kirk party, the Bob Mansfield party, the John Martin party, the Ross Christensen party, the Craig Royal party, and the Martin Cousineau party.
