I fished Willard on Wednesday. We were the only boat on the lake but I think that was due to the weather. Believe it or not it wasn't as bad as it looked. We had several light takes but no hook-ups along the north dike. We fished for about 5 hours with no luck. If the water gets a little warmer the fish may become more active. The other problem on Wednesday was water color. It looked like chocolate milk coming in the inlet. Take mosquito spray though as they will probably be bad again with warmer weather.

I went out saturday night had four hookups only landed one. The fish were outside the south marina all the way to the feed lots. I tried the west dike the south dike and the Island but I didn't see many fish. But as we all know just because they were there one day don't mean they will be there again. The water temp was 60 degrees. All this warm weather I wish I could go tonight.

I have been getting some good crappie reports from in the north marina on chartreuse sparkle jigs,1" curly tails. Wiper reports have been hit and miss. Walleye have been quiet.
