Every year I'm amazed at how much water the lakes don't get. I'm beginning to wonder if they'll ever get full again. Anybody else wonder about this as well?

Yea, I keep thinking, " this is going to be a wet winter and we are going to get all the water we need to fill up the lakes", then I wake up and find I'm still in Utah. Not that there is anything wrong with that but it sure has been bad these last three years or more. WH2

I heard by word of mouth that the ground is so dry that it sucked up all the water. With all the snow we got, I expected a much larger spring runoff. I know what you mean about the reservoirs filling up.

I have a question. Low resevoirs hurt the fishing. How long after a reservoir fills back up until the fishing is back to what it used to be? I would assume a couple years but don't know much about this kind of stuff.

Hash from the data I heard about the dry soil we lost 10" of run off. That is about half of the total run off for this year in most places.

How long before the fishing gets good or gets back to producing like it used to. I'd say that first year should produce some great fishing. It'll take a couple years to get back to what we all remember. The best way is to find the average growth for a particular lake.
