I fished Little Dell today from 7:15 to 12pm. I fished from my Kayak with slow success.I launch from the boat Ramp. I caught my first 18" Cutt about 2 minutes out from the ramp. I caught my second 18" Cutt on the south side where the tiny stream comes in. I lost some thing huge just after the second Cutt. I had it on for about 30 seconds before it got off. It was taking drag and pulling the yak.
The wildlife report is a little better then the fishing report but here it goes.
1- beaver
8-Loons(mama with babies)
1-black weasel
1-Red fox
The water was glass for much of the morning but the wind picked up shorty after 11am. I was stopped by the Fish Cops also. The gates are suposed to be open at 6am but the lady didn't get there until after 7am.
What a great day to be on the water. Life is good.
