the temperatures going to be up near 90 degrees, it would be such a nice day for fishing but my mom or dad won't take me fishing.

maybe you should take a bike[]....dont u have any lakes or rivers near by?

to get to the lake you have to travel on a busy road and theres no sidewalk anyways my mom won't let me go by myself.

Maybe call up a fishing buddy[]

Sometimes an uncle or older cousing could help you out and give you a ride.

I know the feeling. Where I lived most of my life the nearest body of water for fishing was a 45 minute drive away.

And now that I live in a place where you see a lake every 3 miles or so, I'm still wishin' I was fishin'! I have a nasty cut on my thumb and can't do anything with fishing line or hooks or even practice casting! I hope it heals up quickly. I'm getting antsy.
