If you haven't tried them yet, you need to get a hold of some. Fished a small back water creek that led into the main lake and found a beaver hut that had a pile of wood submerged about one ft. spotted 5-6 bass moving around the pile so I put on the Gulp to try it again. They couldn't be bothered. Pull out the pack of Assalt and tried the pumpkinseed worm they sent. A blue gill grabed the tail and wouldn't let go till I took it out of the water. Threw it back and the bass attacked it, time and time again. Bass Master is right when he says its as good as Sencos. The action is different but deadly. If you bass fish you need these babys.

I have tried a few of the colors and did well out here in Cali. I guess I'm fortunate enough to have them as a local company. I did send off for some of the freebies too.

They worked in N.Y. for bass and pickerel and don't fall off the line after 3 fish! Tacklewarehouse.com has a 10 pack for $3.19 in may colors. I called the company's toll free number and the service was great as was the distributor below.

He Sam, thanks for the review. That could be a plus if more people could respond and let us know the yeahs or neighs. Also, Welcome to the site. I see youv'e been a member for a short while.
I do watch the NY board from time to time. Maybe you'll leave us a fishing report when you have them.[cool]

Hey Sencosam, I just got two packs from them today. Your right about them staying on longer. Bassmaster had a tip to save your beat up sencos and use them for wacky rigging. Works great.

Tube, I don't post on NYBASS anymore - too much censorship b.s.
I like other sites much better to post on, though all of the folks that post on that site are first class and welcome in my boat anyday! I lurk there only for some info that may interesting or helpful.
Be glad to share some fishing reports!
I like Kevin's Bass Fishing Site
at:
http://65.108.227.167/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=news and since I pour many of my own soft plastics, Tackleunderground.com.
If I were a tournament angler, I would probably always use Senkos - the most idiot proof bait ever made. But, if my sticks catch fish (and they do), than alternatives are more than attractive, especially at a decent price.
(Note: I didn't mean to imply that people who can't catch fish on Senkos are idiots, just that given enough time and the proper tackle, anyone who finds fish can easily catch them many different ways on 4 or 5" Senkos.

There is no offense taken on your comment my friend. Senkos are very good for all levels of competition as well as the Yamamotos. Very similar in design.
There must have been some confusion also as far as NY board goes.[crazy] We actually have regional boards on this site. As you can see on the ones that are busy, they are generally friendly people that like to share their stories with others as well as offer friendly advice.
We happen to have boards for every state. If you would like, you can introduce yourself on the NY board here on this site. Here is a link. [url "http://www.bigfishtackle.com/cgi-bin/gforum/gforum.cgi?forum=46"]http://www.bigfishtackle.com/cgi-bin/gforum/gforum.cgi?forum=46[/url];
The moderator over there is ChiefPanfish. He is cool and friendly like all of us Moderators on this site.
Thanks again for coming back on your message. I hope there is no confusion this time.[cool]
We are glad to have you on this site and hope you enjoy it here.

Thanks Tube, I thought you were referring to NYBASS. Everyone there is friendly and dedicated to the sport, even the moderators. Restrictive policies that lock peoples posts, remove posts that express an opinion in a polite way, limit the time to edit a post to 5 min., deletes parts of posts and allow bashing of some people but not others, is against my writer's nature.
I post volumes on different sites and upload many digital photos to illustrate, demonstrate, show off (not fish, but lure creations), amuse and allow people to enjoy scenes and things related to angling. It's not worth my time to do so if I feel I'm being treated like a subordinate and feel restricted concerning communicating precisely, an idea or opinion. Both sides of any argument allow a reader a better understanding of what is involved with or supportive of any issue.
Anyway, back to fishing.
