Fishing Forum

I fished the Middle Provo around US 40 last night. There is a lot of water in the river. They have cranked it up. It looks like Jordanelle has a lot of water and they are starting to send some down to Deer Creek (which really hasn't risen much this spring). The high water made for tough fishing, but I managed a half a dozen, all 12" or smaller, and all on nymphs.

I was up there yesterday for golf and kept looking at the water. There was a good flow going but the water was fairly clear. I kept wondering how the fly fishing would be. With all the private property up there I am not even sure where to fish that sin't already fished to death. Well, I will have to go up and give it a try.
