That sounds like something that you might find in a camping store. It is possible that the store may be able to order them for you. Try asking in the store.

The only thing that we could suggest here is to check the internet and your local store. I use the golden mantles on my lantern. They are just a little brighter than the regular green band mantles. Otherwise, if bugs are the problem, then you might want to try having a Citronela candle lit near the lantern.

Hi again hotrod_361,

Did a little search on my own and the following seems to be the scoop.

The globe is made by the Anti-bug Globe Co. and their website (can't access it) is http://www.nobugsglobe.com. It looks like the last thing said about it was in 2000. The thing will fit 75% of Coleman lanterns. Another related company is Applied Innovative Technologies.

The different companies advertised them but each one only had the dead link above.

How about making your own. It's quite possible you could go to micheal's or other such store to get the dye.

Good luck,

JapanRon

Here's what I think you're looking for:

http://www.jafedeco.com/JAFEAMBR.HTM

If that doesn't work, try this website. It doesn't have the globes pictured but it does give you the model #'s for which they are made (but these are expensive).

Here's one on eBay...

There may be others on eBay.
